Service:
There was a huge wait with almost 50 people. When there was a table open, the waiter was really rude and got impatient when we took our time to order.
Food:
The sambar vada needed to be cooked more because it's supposed to be crispy.The onion rava masala dosa was crispy, but the masala itself lacked salt. The sambar shadam was disgusting. The sambar powder was thrown on at last minute and the rice wasn't even cooked.The only good thing about Woodlands was the salt lassi.There was a good ratio between salt and buttermilk.
Price:
Definitely not worth it. About 10-15 dollars per dish.
Overall:
Woodlands was a terrible experience and I will never go there again. I haven;t tried the north Indian dishes because everyone has them and south Indian food is a little rare. Woodlands got a 69%, not even a passing grade. The next time I go to Woodlands, it'll be in India.

Ooooh.. that's not good! And, of course Woodlands in Chennai is wayyyyyyy better!! :)

Truly a terrible experience...I guess since this restaurant is the only apparently bonafide south Indian restaurant (Kannada speaking folks), they can lay claim to their dishes being authentic...alas looks can be deceiving...the taste said it all...I hope they were having a bad day in the kitchen on the day we were there...
